Conrad Tokyo’s Modern French “Collage” is collaborating with the exhibition “Hokusai and Japonisme Hokusai’s impact on Europe” held at the National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo (Ueno Park).
As Monet and Van Gogh got some inspirations for their creation of an old Japanese Ukiyo-e master, “Collage” created a unique plate inspired by Hokusai’s point of view. Each plate is given the poetic name such as “A pose which Edgar Degas was inspired by” or “A nature, Van Gogh loved”.
To express Japonisme in taste and look by adopting Japanese ingredients such as turnips, Chinese cabbage, red shiso and served with Japanese Sake. Cutleries, plates and also the menu boards are arranged in Japanese design.
These special plates will be served from the 21st of October until the 28th of January, 2018.
